Son questions father's execution, believes new trial would set him free

My father is on death row. He's about to be executed by the state of Missouri by what the state calls legal homicide. My father has been on death row 14 1/2 years, and I'm 20 years old.

My father is a good man, a godly man. He is my rock. He's the person I talk to when things in my life become too hard. I can live with my father being in prison, but I cannot and will not live with the fact that my father, the man who gave me life, will be legally murdered by the state of Missouri.

My father was prom king, a member in the drama club. He was a good father, son and brother. He has saved three lives, yet he is being murdered legally by the state of Missouri for murdering one person.

If my father was allowed to have a new trial, he would win. But the state of Missouri is scared to admit it was wrong, Kenny Hulshof is afraid of being wrong.

So my question is: Missouri, isn't our justice system perfect? Can't you stand the truth? Doesn't the system work? Answer me that, faithful taxpayers. Answer me that, legislators. Answer me that, governor.
