To the editor:
I'm sad to think that federal authorities put drug makers, users and dealers in prison where they belong, then turn right around and let them back on our streets. Scott Smith is one of them. On Dec. 1 he'll be out of jail and free to roam.
There are many questions about the Greg Sparkman trial that don't add up. Why were the jury members who were sleeping not told to wake up? How could the jury convict a man on the testimony of Scott Smith when it changed three times?
These are just a few questions. This whole trial was the most unjust trial I've ever seen. Justice was far from served in this case.
