Only months after Bob and his wife, Karen, were married, they hoped to start a family. Shortly after, Karen had extensive X-rays for a back injury, later realizing that she was pregnant while having those X-rays. Doctors were concerned that the baby could have very serious health problems, and that abortion could be an option. Bob and Karen realized that God gives life, and it was not theirs to take away. Choosing abortion would have robbed them of their beautiful, healthy baby girl. Bob Parker was, and still is, pro-life.
