To the editor:
On Aug. 7, my two daughters, two grandsons and I were on a shopping trip to the mall in Cape Girardeau. My older daughter, Tammy, and her two boys -- Adrian, 1, and Alex, 6 -- went ahead to our van.
When my younger daughter, Emily, and I arrived at the van, Adrian had had a seizure. There was a wonderful woman there holding Adrian and trying to comfort his mother. The fire department arrived and escorted us to Saint Francis Medical Center.
Everything happened so fast, and there was no time to get names and phone numbers.
Adrian went to Children's Hospital in St. Louis the following day after having two more seizures. He his home now and doing fine.
This letter is to thank all those nameless angels who helped my daughter and her son that Sunday afternoon. Whether you were the woman with the neck brace, a paramedic/firefighter, a nurse or doctor at the hospital or a bystander, your thoughtfulness and kindness will always be remembered. May God's angels watch over you all. Thanks again.
TINA RINGWALD, Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
