How absurd to compare political correctness to communism (Herbert Hirschfeld's letter to the editor, "I communism really dead?"). And how absurd to hide one's own prejudice and include "artificially induced gender wars."

Of course, when a Democratic president of the United States can't keep his pants zipped and limit himself to one woman, we only see how little we've progressed as women.

Any video store tells the story of who is exploited in society: the female. Practically any magazine rack also tells the story.

I notice no communism when I get the Southeast Missourian or Newsweek magazine. I don't think, "Here comes that communist paper again."

The final shame, it seems, is Mr. Hirschfeld has raised a son to be as biased as he is and covered it with the blanket statement of "political correctness."
