To the editor: Enclosed is the response I received to my letter to the governor regarding Coleen Kivlahan. (Kivlahan is director of the Missouri Department of Health. The letter urged Gov. Mel Carnahan to take action in light of reports that department funds were misspent by Kivlahan.) I think the response speaks for itself...

Enclosed is the response I received to my letter to the governor regarding Coleen Kivlahan. (Kivlahan is director of the Missouri Department of Health. The letter urged Gov. Mel Carnahan to take action in light of reports that department funds were misspent by Kivlahan.) I think the response speaks for itself.

"Dear Mr. Nicholson:

"Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I need to know the concerns and ideas of the citizens that I serve.

"Moving Missouri into the next century is an extremely demanding task. To succeed, it is imperative that every citizen get involved. I am pleased that you have chosen to get involved. Your observations and suggestions are always welcome.
