To the editor: I have decided to declare Washington, D.C., in a state of emergency. There was a wind that came through there and blew Clinton's pants right off of him. Whatever happened to we the people of the United States? The president spends a million dollars a bomb, but then he is so proud of his welfare program. What the government spends on things it thinks is important could be used for us, and there would not be a poor person in our country.

I am sick and tired of our government saying we better plan for the future in case Social Security is not there. I am taking care of myself, so quit taking my money to spend on your crap.
