LETTERS: PARENTS SUPPORT MAJOR EVENTS FOR CHS SENIORS

To the editor:

The past month was a whirlwind of activities for our students who graduated from Central High School. A couple of these activities, baccalaureate and the senior all-night party, would not have been possible without the leadership and generosity of many parents, community leaders, ministers, businesses and civic organizations. As one who helped organize one of these events and worked at another, I found very willing parents that would do whatever was needed to be sure that the events went smoothly from the initial planning to cleanup.

To the parents of the Class of 2001, thank you for your support these past several years. Many events would have not been possible without you giving of your time, financial support and love. To the businesses who donated products, services and funding, you made this the best ending of our students' high school years. CHS students and parents, I encourage you to thank those who supported these events. They are your friends, neighbors and the greatest supporters you will ever have.
