To the editor:

Dear King Bill: The nerve of those poor knaves who think you should abide by the same laws as common citizens. They believe because Monica was only 21 and a subordinate that you should be held to the same standard as a college professor or a company CEO. They also insist that because you are commander-in-chief of the military you should be expected to behave like a lowly man in uniform. They somehow feel that just because you used your former position as president to hinder a lawsuit against you that you should have been removed from office. That's pure jealousy. If they wanted that privilege, they should have run for president. As far as lying to the American people, you were just doing it for their own good, just like parents lie to their children and a husband lies to his wife.

What is wrong with these people? Don't they remember good old King George and where our country came from? Neither he nor his predecessors were ever subject to such trivial laws. I was taught that the end always justifies the means. Without your political agenda, how could this nation survive?

Now that enough people have finally seen what a silly, outdated document our Constitution was and have voted to abolish it, you can really get some things done. If Supreme Court justices should be appointed for life, how much more so our king. God save the king. -- U.S. Poll Jr.
