To the editor:
The sour grapes have been harvested. Jesse Ventura, a well-known Reform Party candidate, has proven that there is still hope for America. No longer will the Republicans or Republicans take the average man's vote for granted, at least not in Minnesota.
Ventura's run for governor has met with laughs and jeers by the two major parties. Their loss in this major election has caused them much distress. They will no longer be able to accept perks that would normally be offered to a man in his position. Jesse is owned by no lobbyists, nor has he been bought off by big corporations. He is truly for the people of Minnesota.
The Reform Party platform doesn't allow for major corporate donations. Only individual donations are accpeted. This would explain why Jesse's approval rating soared when the debates were held. The people of Minnesota could see for themselves that there wouldn't be that business-as-usual attitude if he were elected.
It looks like just that has happened, and the time of big government is coming into its sunset years. i think it's well overdue. Hoo-yah!
