LETTERS: HEARTFELT THANKS FOR THE TRIBUTE

To the editor:

I want to thank everyone in Dongola, Ill., for the honor that was bestowed on me Feb. 18. The naming of the new trophy case after me was an event I will cherish forever. There are many people who made this possible, and they are greatly appreciated by me and my family.

Also, I want to thank the fans, students and players from Dongola High School and Shawnee High School for their support and standing ovation that was given me. It is something I take pride in, and it is a tribute that I will never forget. It was very special.

Again, thanks for everything.
