This banquet, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau, has an amazing track record. This year marked the 41st time the seniors have been honored at a banquet that now bears the name of its originator, John Blue. As club president more than four decades ago, Blue saw fit to honor these top students and to give them their moment in the spotlight. That effort remains a wonderful way today for the community to recognize these hard-working seniors.

Thanks to John Blue and the Rotary Club of Cape Girardeau for their leadership in taking the time to honor these deserving young people.
