Interstate entrance needs help

To the editor:

I am in full agreement with the "Nightmare on I-55" comment regarding the entrance to I-55 from Highway 72. I was recently visiting Cape Girardeau and was almost hit by a car because the signs were not clearly marked where the entrance actually was. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. It is really disappointing that the powers that be would let the roads get so bad. I always thought of Cape as a progressive town that looked out for its citizens. I hope the next time I visit Cape that I find this problem remedied.
