Emerson should defend her votes

Congresswoman Emerson's campaign looks very similar to President Obama's campaign. Get people talking about some obscure issue that can be twisted so that you don't have to defend your record. Her campaign is now going after Bob Parker as being "soft on drugs." Really? After 16 years in Congress, that's all you got?

Please, Jo Ann, just defend your votes. Why did you support:

1. Taxpayer-funded embryonic stem-cell research;

2. The NDAA vote to detain American citizens without due process;

3. The Wall Street bailout;

4. Cash for Clunkers;

5. Raising the debt limit again in 2011;

6. Forcing local governments to unionize?

Just defend these and other votes. You can do that in a town-hall meeting or a debate with Bob Parker. Please stop using your staffers to act and speak in your stead.

By the way, Bob Parker is not for legalizing any drug.
