To the editor:
The issue of running more trains through Chaffee is of great concern to me. I live on the east side of Chaffee, which is across the tracks. This has not been a problem to me for 44 years, even though I have to cross the tracks to get to the grocery store, church, post office, bank and doctor. But my main concern is that our school buses have to cross these tracks twice a day. Is one child's life worth what the railroad gets out of running more trains? Chaffee's future is our children. Please don't put them in jeopardy.
BONNIE RISTER, Chaffee, Mo.
