Lewis's appearance comes as Southeast prepares to offer a new bachelor of science degree in cybersecurity.

Southeast is one of only four institutions in the country that partners in the CSIS student seminars.

Each year a diverse group of students from the university are chosen to attend the center during spring break to study a variety of global issues.

Cybersecurity has become a critical issue affecting multiple aspects of our lives. The more we know about the potential risks it can introduce, the better we can all prepare and protect ourselves.

The Lewis lecture will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Glenn Auditorium at Dempster Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
