To the editor:
I have been critical of the county highway department in the past, but this time I will have to commend the road crew for doing all it can with a grader the last two times fixing the mess made of my corner boundary at the intersection of County Road 465 and County Road 450. It was all smoothed out and had material there to stop erosion.
That was until a month or so ago when some jerk had the idea he could squeeze oversize loads through a lot easier if he went through yards instead of roads. Anyone who drives by this intersection will notice the torn-up corners on both the north and south sides, as well as the bent-up road sign, which used to be new. No, those aren't moles tearing up that fence line.
What I would like to know from whom it may concern is, is this what you think of your community? Is it your private playground or something? Would you like to dump some trash while you're at it to make it look like a first-class ghetto? I will be more than happy to leave it that way, if that's what it takes
