CONFERENCE RETURN WELCOMED

One of the more popular local events of recent years has been the annual Womancare Conference. Sponsored by St. Francis Medical Center, Southeast Missouri State University and Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co., the conference will be held Saturday at the University Center. We commend the sponsors for continuing to put on a good program.

The conference is aimed at spotlighting resources, services and products of interest to women. The program ranges from motivational speeches to fashion consultation to health screenings. Participants can also take advantage of an optional "Pamper Yourself Night" at the Holiday Inn Friday, which includes an assortment of enjoyable diversions.

We welcome the return of this conference and hope the weekend is constructive for the participants.
