To the editor: As if the indictments of Tom Delay and Lewis Libby wasn't enough, another Bush administration ally pleaded guilty in court to taking bribes that included cash, a yacht and a Rolls Royce. Randy Duke Cunningham, the eight-term Californian Republican, resigned after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud, bribery and tax evasion, in one case failing to report more than $1 million in income...

As if the indictments of Tom Delay and Lewis Libby wasn't enough, another Bush administration ally pleaded guilty in court to taking bribes that included cash, a yacht and a Rolls Royce.

Randy Duke Cunningham, the eight-term Californian Republican, resigned after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud, bribery and tax evasion, in one case failing to report more than $1 million in income.

Cunningham admitted to taking more than $2.4 million in bribes in exchange for helping to secure defense contracts.

Cunningham was a member of the House Intelligence Committee, which controls U.S. defense spending.
