Marine Corps Cpl. James E. Eaton has been decorated with the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal. He is an amphibious assault vehicle crewman assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The corporal has served in the military for three years. The medal is awarded to enlisted members in the Regular Marine Corps and Reserve Component to recognize good behavior and faithful service in the corps while on active duty for a specified period of time.
