Jackson VFW Auxiliary honors volunteer of the year
The Jackson VFW Auxiliary 10495 presented Vera Jean Voges with the 2008 Volunteer Award at the annual Christmas party. Voges served as president of the auxiliary for three years and is currently the junior vice president, conductress and a three-year trustee. She volunteers at the Missouri Veterans Home, the Lutheran Home and Jackson Manor. She is a greeter and assists with the bereavement committee at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
