• Breast-feeding class: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Saint Francis Medical Center. Class for expecting parents in their eighth or ninth month who plan to breast feed. Topics are breast physiology, milk production, positioning, diet, pumping and storing breast milk. Call 877-231-2229 to register.

Dec. 2

• Chronic disease self management: 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Health and Wellness Center conference room 2. This is a six-week workshop for adults living with a chronic condition. Classes are interactive, where mutual support and success builds confidence in participants' ability to manage their health while maintaining an active, fulfilling lifestyle. Registration required. • Breast-feeding class: 3 to 4:30 p.m. in meeting room 102 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Class covers benefits and techniques of breast feeding, family involvement and support. To register, call 332-1587.
• Neck pain: When is Surgery the Right Choice?: 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Harrison Room at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Learn about the problems causing common neck pains and the non-surgical treatment options as well as the latest minimally invasive surgical solutions. To register, call 332-1587.

n Bosom Buddies: 6:30 p.m. at HealthPoint Plaza. This group is open to all women who have or have had breast cancer.
