  • Benjamin A. Martin of Cape Girardeau has been awarded the Governor's Scholarship at Southeast Missouri State University for the 2007-2008 academic year. He was homeschooled and is the son of Chuck and Jean Martin.
  • Kent G. Deason of New Hamburg, Mo., has been awarded a Community College Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2007-2008 academic year. A graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School and Three Rivers Community College, he is the son of Dorothy and Terry Deason.

  • Tamika Barkley Zapolski was awarded a grant to present at the poster session of the American Psychological Association's 2007 annual convention. Zapolski, daughter of Bill and Reba Barkley of Cape Girar­deau is a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is enrolled in the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kentucky-Lexington.
  • Darla Mangels of Jackson was selected as a national finalist for the National FFA Proficiency Award in Equine Science Entrepreneurship.

Graduations
