Cape Girardeau Central High School senior Graham Ritter was awarded his Eagle Scout medal at a recent ceremony held at Southeast Missouri State University. According to www.scouting.org, about 5 percent of all Boy Scouts earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Ritter is the son of Dr. R. August Ritter III and Mrs. Cheryl Dietrich. He is a member of Scout Troop 4. For his final Eagle Scout project, Ritter erected a flag pole and cleaned the gardens at First Presbyterian Church on Broadway in Cape Girardeau.
