Dance until dawn

Couples danced the night away during the Parks and Recreation's Community Dance and Social at the Arena Building in Cape Girardeau.

The tradition carries on this year after some of last year's dances were canceled due to the coronavirus.

Memories Nostalgic Tunes, a local band, provided a wide array of music from the past.

Dancers spun around their partners, side stepped, slow danced, skipped and twirled around the dance floor.
