Cape Girardeau resident Patsy Johnson of the John Guild Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution placed third in the nation for her matchstick construction of the Oliver House. The award, which was presented to state regent Donna Nash in Washington, D.C., was given to Johnson at the Southeast District meeting in Cape Girardeau.
