As I write this blog sitting in the living room of my son who lives in New Jersey, I think how relaxing and entertaining it would be for the people here to see our last show of the season. But of course they won't be able to. With all the destruction and no power (yes, still no power for many) a simple time away from it all would be a blessing. As I travel home today I am thinking how thankful we are not having to experience what they are but feel so bad for all of the people along the east coast!
"A Christmas Cactus" is the last production of River City Players 2012 season. The director, co-director and cast and crew have work extremely hard on this show. I am wondering why the reservations are not coming in. We rely on you the community to keep us alive and well. How sad it would be after 8 weeks of extremely long hours of work not to get to perform this show. This would be such a great evening out for anyone that enjoys live theatre. Please keep in mind that we are a non for profit group. Call Port Cape @573-334-0954 and make your reservations now. The dinner show dates are November 9,10,16, and 17. The show only is November 15. All of our productions are held at Port Cape in the Yacht Club. As always I will see you at the Theatre!
