I bet when you read the title of this blog you said hmmm! Let me introduce you to a young man that is making his debut with River City Players and a lady that has done many things with River City Players. Hence, first timer and a many timer.
Michael Toeniskoetter, who is playing Ramon Ramirez in our last show of the season, "A Christmas Cactus," is a 24 year old husband and father. He has been involved in acting since his youth, however, this is his first time acting with RCP. Michael had been involved for the past five years with his own directing of an amateur theatre group called, "The D.F.A."
Now, how about our many timer. Well, that would be Andrea Shovan. Andrea lives in Cape and is a married mother of two teenagers. She has been involved with River City Players for three years. Andrea is proud to have done a little of everything for RCP: directing, acting and even lights and sound. She also won an Abbott Award for her role as "Jerry" in "The Crazy Time." She also holds a seat on the Board of Directors. Andrea appreciates all the support of the RCP theatre patrons.
"A Christmas Cactus" opens November 9 and runs the 10, 15, 16, 17. All are dinners shows except the November 15 date which is the show only. All of our productions are held at Port Cape 19 N. Water St. in the Yacht Club. This is a mystery comedy and is suitable for all ages. For your reservations call 573-334-0954. As always, I will see you at the THEATRE!
