NEWTIMER AND OLD TIMER STEP UP TO THE STAGE....
Next Friday (a week from today) RCP's 2012 season will open with 'Come Back to the 5 and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean.' The show is written by Ed Graczyk and directed by Kyle Vanpool.
Each show has new actors along with the experienced actors. I would like to introduce you to both of the above. Patti Wicks (1st timer) and Justin Aden (5th timer). Patti will be playing Juanita in this comedy/drama. She has been involved in River City Players for a few years now by helping with selling show tickets and raffle tickets. She has also been a seat and greet person several times at the shows. She has even co-directed two different shows 'Let's Murder Marsha' and 'Academia Nuts', but this will be her first acting experience and has stated that she wanted to test her acting capabilities. Patti says she will be learning first hand the challenges of being a actor. You might also see Patti at Southeast Hospital as she is a volunteer there. Please come out and support Patti in her debut. Our old timer, is no way that in age, but in experience he has with RCP. The experienced one I am speaking of is Justin Aden. Justin is excited to be apart of his fifth River Citiy Production. He is playing Joe in this show. Justin has done shows with several different companies but no matter what he calls River City Players home. Justin commented that he has really enjoyed this cast of fresh faces. It's been fun both on stage and off. In order to see Justin take the stage again then it is time to make those reservations. Call Port Cape at 573-334-0954 and get a table reserved. Our productions are held in the Yacht Club at Port Cape 19 N. Water street. This play has been rated PG-13. I will see you at the Theatre.
