A NEW YEAR A NEW SEASON............

Well here it is the last day of 2011. One might ask where did the year go? Well in theatre it went very well. Three productions this year all outstanding shows. River City Players strive to give the community, our patrons, and audience the best shows possible. As we close out the year we are very excited about the 2012 season. The new season will include four productions, February, May, September, and November. We have two first time directors for this season which is always exciting. Our first show "Come Back to the 5 and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean" will open in February. One of our new directors Kyle VanPool is in charge of this show. They have been in rehearsals since early December and just keep marching on through the holidays and being able to find a place they can rehearse. I will be blogging in early February more about this show and introduce the cast and crew. Mark you calendars now and make it one of your New Year's resolution to attend one of our plays this new year. Once you have seen one of our productions you will be hooked.
