So are you wondering if today I am blogging about three people. Where the answer is no! I am blogging today about Andrea Shovan, who played the character Jerry in last years "The Crazy Time", then directed the first show of this season, "Faith County" and now is playing the character Margot (a possessive mother-in-law) in this upcoming show "First Things First". Andrea is a Cape Girardeau native who has been involved with RCP for over a year now. She is employed at JCS wireless in Cape and is married with two children. She was a voice/theatre major at Murray State University where she was involved in numerous productions both on and off the stage. Some of the most memorable for her were "Of Mice and Men", "Play it Again Sam", and "Oklahoma". Last year Andrea won an Abbott award for Best Actor in a leading role for her part as Jerry in "The Crazy Time". She had a blast directing "Faith County" in May. Her hope is that you enjoy this upcoming production and thanks you for supporting community theatre. The dinner show dates are November 4, 5, 11, and 12 which is a prime rib buffet. The show only date is Thursday, November 10. For reservations call Port Cape at 573-334-0954. See you at the theatre!!!!
