In less than a month River City Players last show of this season will be opening at Port Cape in the Yacht Club. Hard to believe isn't it? We just put 'Academia Nuts' to bed and here it is almost time for 'First Things First' to begin its run. This play was written by Derek Benfield and is being directed by Joe Reed. A comedy about a man who thinks his first wife met her fate from a climbing accident, moves on with his life to find out all sorts of things about his first wife while explaining these things to his second wife. That's it. I am telling no more. You simply must attend this show that is sure to be a hit. The cast is a very experienced one and to top it off the characters they are playing are British. Hence: British accents. It is alway great fun to be in a show that requires you to change your normal way of speech and take on another. The cast is working very hard on getting each word of the script to be as British as possible. If you would like to enjoy such a show then mark your calendars now. Opening night is Friday, November 4 with following dates of November 5,10,11,and 12. The November 10 date is the show only. The other dates are dinner show dates. Reservations can be made by calling 573-334-0954. Please come out and show your support of your Community Theatre!
