Well here it is already September 29 soon to be October. Where did that time go? The old saying time flies when you are having fun comes to mind, but for RCP that old saying is time flies when you are very busy. We just closed this past weekend our second show of the 2011 season 'Academia Nuts'. It was a fantastic show, was enjoyed by many and had great reviews. Thank you to Mike Craig who directed this show and Patti Wicks who was the co-director. The cast and crew were beyond great and a big thank you goes out to the all of them. We are already in rehearsals for our last show of the season which is 'First Things First' by Derek Benfiled. This show is being directed by Joe Reed and co-directed by Kyle VanPool. The show dates are November 4,5,10,11,and 12. If you have ever wonder about River City Players, who we are, what we do, how to get involved, your chance will be here soon. On October 19 we will be hosting our yearly general membership meeting at 6:00 at Port Cape. Come on down and join in the friendships, old and new, sit in and participate in discussions about our community theatre and feel free to volunteer to help the group out. We so enjoy meeting new people and having them become a part of our group. So put that date on your calendar and makes plan to attend. I will be updating the progress on our present show so check back in to see how things are going. Until then. 'HAPPY FALL'.
