I thought it was time to update the community on how the rehearsals are going for our September show "Academia Nuts" which is being directed by Mike Craig. The actors are putting forth a lot of effort at this point. It is time the lines are starting to be memorized and the best part yet, the blocking. Blocking can be very demanding in any show but this one in particular due to the props that are brought onto the stage and at some points must be carried around. Now I am not going to give away too much or it will take the element of surprise out of the show for you. One actor has many different things he must bring onto the set and work with those props while learning the blocking at the same time. This takes alot of time and work to get all of this down so that when the show opens it looks as easy as pie to the audience. There are lots of things that must be perfection before September, hence, lots and lots of rehearsal time. To the cast, director, co-director, props and stage, lights and sound people, carry on, your doing a fine job.
