  • 9/11? Really? Not a romantic day.

  • Sonnyboy,

People have already forgotten about that day. Welcome to Obama Nation - where we deny the past, lie about the present, and place false hope in the future.

  • I'm a Democrat who voted for Obama, but I think this just disprespectful. I can't say I'm surprised though.

  • Well, at least all of the other entertainment venues will be shutting down that day. I'm sure there aren't any establishments that have booked a band for that night, and I'm just positive that the theaters won't be showing any movies. For that matter, I'm sure neither of you will be going home and watching television that night, because allowing yourself to be entertained would be the same thing as denying the past, lying about the present, and placing false hope in the future. I know there's been a lot of fingerpointing at the government lately, and I definitely won't say it's not deserved, but I think it says a lot about the citizens who are playing the blame game when they somehow equate a community theater production in Cape Girardeau Missouri with the President of the United States. That doesn't sound ridiculous at all, does it? I have the utmost respect and deepest regret for the loss of the victims of the 9/11 attacks, and because of that respect, I know that no one who has passed would ever begrudge anyone still here for enjoying the time they have left.
