The Amazement of RCP......

I think the one thing that keeps our patrons coming back to each and every show that we produce is the amazement that everyone involved, from the actors to the crew that work behind the scenes are just everyday people. They are what we sometimes call the common Joe, not to be confused with 'Joe the Plumber' but just plain ole working folks living right here in the area. Some have had some experience with acting, and some have never even seen a play script before in their life. As far as the crew, they come and ask if there is something that they can do, not having ever worked on a set, run lights, manage a stage or go looking for props that are needed for the production. But they learn in the 8-10 weeks (which is a lot of time out of a persons life when they have other obligations) of rehearsals that is put into a RCP Show. Everyone works together to be able to pull off a show such as the one that is still going on this weekend "Make Me a Match". I have heard wonderful comments from friends and family that has attended this show. If you don't have your reservation as of yet, you had better call and get them. Thursday will be the show only and will begin at 7:00 while the Friday and Saturday is dinner theatre where dinner is served at 7:00 and the show is at 8:00.
