WarChild Riding Group Donates to Veterans Home

The WarChild Riding Group recently presented a $1500 donation to benefit the Veterans at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. Accepting the "big check" for the home are (seated in front) Veterans Charles Stephens, Chester Hennis, and Jack Ellis. Members of the group pictured here during the check presentation are: Gary and Debbie Asher, Jim and Laura Phegley, Chug Little, Ray Sanders, David Scherer, Sue Byrd, Winthol and Pat Frailey, Larry Gleuck, Brad Sample, Larbo and Agnes Eyler, Robert Boitnott, Larry Phillips, Mike Davidson, Randy Dunn, Gary Schrum, Jerry Schwein, Rick Johnson, Bob McCall, and Sam McClard. This group, based in Chaffee, holds various fundraising events throughout the year to raise money to support Veterans as well as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
