Summit of Long's Peak, Colorado

Trey Maevers and his father Jim Maevers, of Cape Girardeau, on the summit of Long's Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. They climbed the mountain on July 24, 2010, starting the 12 hour round trip hike at 3am. Jim is holding a picture of his son Ashton(AJ)Maevers who had planned on accompanying his brother and father, however he accepted an earlier than scheduled opening for Basic training in the United States Marine Corps. Trey is scheduled for Marine Corps Officer's training in October.
