SoutheastHEALTH Celebrates Start! Walking Path

SoutheastHEALTH officials and staff, representatives of the American Heart Association, Cape Girardeau city officials, Cape Central Middle School students and others celebrated the opening of the first official Start! Walking path in the region with a lunchtime ribbon-cutting ceremony and an inaugural walk on Wednesday, April 6. The path extends around the city's Capaha Park. SoutheastHEALTH is the local sponsor of the walking path. The American Heart Association recently recognized SoutheastHEALTH as a "Fit Friendly" company, one of 123 in the 11-state Midwest to achieve Gold level status.
