We bought a second home four years ago, that needed repairs. My husband had been working on the house all day and was locking up for the day when he thought he heard a meow. He looked outside around the house and didn't find anything. He had forgotten to turn the power off so went back inside. Once in he heard it again. So he started looking in every room, in the cabinets and finally was able to trace the meows from a bathroom with an old shower insert. He glanced down the drain and there she was. She was about 4 weeks old and he couldn't leave her there. He pulled the drain cap off and grabbed her and brought her home. We bottled fed her for 2 weeks and she's been here every since. She has since been named Nene, even though she's a Kitler kitty, and we can't imagine our lives without her.
