Scouting Arrow of Light Award
The candles lit, the pins and badges in the appropriate places, the achievements and certificates handed out, and a boy has made many successes a part of his life. The following boys brought honor to Pack 312, Den 3 and Den 8 leaders -- Kim Forester and Kim Bunger, and their parents as they reached the top of the ladder in Cub Scouts on Sunday, January 10. Their successes were acknowledged and the boys were the recipients of the Arrow of Light Award at the Blue and Gold Banquet. Arrow of Light is the completion of Cub Scouts. The seven rays of the Arrow of Light award represent the seven virtues of life. These virtues are wisdom, courage, self-control, justice, faith, hope, and love. Under the leadership of Kim Forester and Kim Bunger, Den 3 and Den 8 combined two years ago to create one unit. Scouts completing the Arrow of Light in Den 3 are Ben Davis, Kyle Kester, Thomas Landewee, Ethan Ratcliff, and Easton Wyatt. Scouts completing the Arrow of Light in Den 8 are Cody Bunger, Bryce Dickerson, Matthew Fosse, and Brady Perkins. Congratulations on reaching for challenges and being successful. During the banquet, Cody Bunger, Matthew Fosse, and Bryce Dickerson bridged into Boy Scouts. Cody Bunger and Thomas Landewee received the Webelo's Super Achiever award. This award is given to a Webelo Scout who has earned all twenty Webelo's activity pins.
