Newly hired lineman-in-training Tommy Wood takes a turn at towing and parking aircraft with our airport tug. The 'Baby Snowbird' makes a great (and cheap) training tool as linemen work to develop the skills required in moving the MUCH more expensive real things. Since the Baby Snowbird's wingspan is considerably shorter that that of your typical full-scale plane, we use traffic cones to narrow down the tolerances to present Tommy with a greater challenge. As he gains experience "riding along" with other linemen, his training will gradually come to involve moving full-scale aircraft.
