On March 20, 2015, The Rushing Family Trust made a $1,000 donation to Make-A-Wish Missouri. Commemorating the lives of C.W. "Woody" and Evelyn Rushing, the mission of The Rushing Family Trust is to make a positive difference in the lives of disadvantaged women and children, and others with extraordinary needs. Funding for this donation came as a result of the 16th Annual Captain Woody Rushing Golf Tournament that was held at Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson, Missouri. A total of $12,000 will be donated to 19 charities from the 2014 tournament.

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
