Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 101 N. Mount Auburn in Cape Girardeau, was recently recognized by the Keep Cape Beautiful Beautification Committee for their visible and measurable contributions in their beautification efforts in the city of Cape Girardeau. The Keep Cape Beautiful Beautification Committee is a volunteer board led by the City's Park and Recreation Department whose aim is to control litter and graffiti, promote recycling, encourage community involvement, and care for trees and other plants in the community. The Committee's main goal is enhancing physical attractiveness of the City of Cape Girardeau by keeping litter and graffiti to a minimum and adding aesthetic quality to parks and streets by planting and caring for flowers, trees and other greenery.
