We often forget that December 25 is Jesus' birthday and that we should give him presents. Guardian Angel School in Oran celebrated on Tuesday, December 15 by having a birthday party for Jesus in the school gym. Money had been donated to buy items for a family in need. The gifts were wrapped and placed beneath the tree. Michelle Priggel, our religion teacher, spoke to everyone about how we should remember that we should give Jesus a gift, such as prayer. Everyone received a prayer partner whom is to pray for the other through Christmas break. Then everyone got to enjoy a piece of birthday cake and Kool-Aid. Finally, the students, staff, and teachers broke into their archangel groups and played a game. Guardian Angel School would like to wish everyone in the community a very blessed and Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
