The Family Readiness Group for the 205th Military Police Battalion recently celebrated the holidays together at their annual holiday party at the Poplar Bluff armory. The event was dedicated in honor of their Guardsmen who are currently serving overseas in Afghanistan. Families spent the afternoon together enjoying dinner, Family activities and pictures with Santa. Spouses of the Guardsmen were honored to accept toys from a recent drive in the area for the children of the 205th from the following sponsors: VFW ladies Auxiliary Post 3416, SEMO Home Builders Wappapello, Eagles Aires 3730/Eagle Riders, Premier Martial Arts Dexter, American Legion Post 494 Qulin, American Legion Post 153 PB, Eagles Aires 4066 Wappapello, Boy Scout Troop 3416, VFW Post 6477 PB, Sawdust Saloon Stringtown, SEMO Sun Riders Chapter 118, American Legion Post 630 PB, and B&K Trading Company PB.
