Justin Gross, a senior at Perryville High School, has made the Missouri All-State Band. "He is 4th chair out of 11 in the state," said PHS Band Director Jerry Childers. "The All-State Band will perform at the Missouri Music Educators Association, at Tan-Tar-A, later this month.

"Justin was first chair in the Southeast Missouri All-District Band. Justin is a talented trumpet player, a fine student, and has put a lot of work into this audition. We are proud of him and his accomplishments."

All-District Band members were able to audition for a spot on the All-State Band.

Justin is the first chair trumpeter for the Perryville High School band, which he has been a member of for 6 years. He also plays guitar and bass. He is the son of Sheila Brown of Perryville and Kevin Gross of Festus.
