Asia was advertised as a "free for the taking" pet in the Southeast Missourian. When he came to our home, he was so scared that he literally hid in the wall in the basement. After a few days, he came out and hid behind the washer, then furniture, etc. as he very slowly became less afraid. It was a couple of months before he ventured upstairs. Now he is the sweetest, most affectionate cat I have ever had. I think he is beautiful too. You never know where you will find him, and I loved this photo of him sitting on an endtable like one of the decorations.
