I have a question about the problem with the large mobile homes crossing the Diversion Channel on I-55 during peak rush hours. Going north they have to get off I-55 and go up the ramp to cross over the viaduct, then back out on the old part of the bridge. They only move at a snail's pace, and they are almost scraping both sides of the rails. Why can't they be routed during a time that has less traffic instead of about 7:30 a.m.? Two days this week I got caught, and people were almost trying to run over me because it was rush time. The same thing applies to afternoon peak traffic periods.

Why can't the wide-load traffic be restricted between 6:30 and 8:30 a.m. and between 4 and 6 p.m.? It would certainly help the traffic flow, which is bad on a good day.
