Welcome to our new home. We're settling in nicely and getting comfortable. We hope you enjoy it.

I want to expand on at least two concerts this weekend we didn't have room to explain.

First, Beth Kille with Dale Haskell on Friday at the Mississippi Mud House.

Beth Kille lives in Texas, but she's in Cape Girardeau for a family reunion. She called Uncle Dale Haskell and asked if he could find her a place to play while she's here. Kille frequents Austin, Texas, clubs and has played in Nashville, Tenn., as well.

Good old Uncle Dale set her up with this gig and agreed to sit in with her, too.

Uncle Dale is a professor in the English department at Southeast Missouri State University and plays the winery circuit. He has more than 200 original songs in his book and says he's not done by far.

The singer/songwriter duo plays Friday, one day before mass hysteria hits the 4-H Building at Arena Park.

The Cast Pattern, Kill What I Adore, And Hell Followed With U.S. tour makes a stop on it's way to Memphis, Tenn. These bands' death metal sound aims only to make your heart pound and your ears bleed.

Their names should set you off. These bands are hard core, breakcore, metal, metal bands, each with a new CD on the market. All three angry, all three headed this way. These bands will scare co-workers if your computer's not on mute.

Enjoy the weekend. See you on the town.
